We have chosen to live in St. George, Utah because it fulfills the opportunities we want for our family's future. From here we feel we can have a home that includes interests for each of us to enjoy and pursue professionally and in an educational and recreational lifestyle. With the advancements of technology, telecommunication and travel we feel connected with our world quite acceptably.
Tennis has become a way of life for our family since moving to California from Hood River, Oregon in 1982. Our Son, Niles, was an active player in 14 & under age group and played #1 for his high school. We highly encourage our children's enjoyment of tennis and promote his enthusiasm to go to tournaments with his friends.
In 1989 I attended Merced College taking courses in real estate for continuing education requirements. I decided to add the tennis team to my schedule that spring and played well enough to become #1 on the team. In concluding my 1990 season I was voted All Conference Player for the Del Norte Conference which includes schools from many of the major cities of Northern Ca. I have been the primary promoter in tournament organizing of fund raisers and have experience in directing numerous junior and community events as well as being a USPTR Certified Tennis Instructor & Certified Junior College Instructor. I finished the year of 1992 out working as the Merced High School tennis coach and helping to continue their reign as Conference Champions and their record to 55-0 over a five year period. I was offered the Head Coach position for the Merced College Blue Devil Tennis Program. I turned down the opportunity to move here to St. George and work into a position with the Vic Braden Tennis College.
I am currently deeply interested in natural herbal medicine and optimal health & fitness. In the past year our family has experience in the remarkable rejuvenating power of herbal and vitamin supplementation along with optimal nutrition. With anything I get interested in I work diligently to understand, utilize and test it in my life.
Here in St. George I intend to teach and promote the enhancement of tennis with a deep conviction in a balanced and enjoyable sports & health philosophy with scientific proven foundations.
I appreciate your interest in a short Biography on myself and family and our motivations, values, and aspirations. We feel fortunate to be here and have these opportunities ...
